Developing a Robust Personal and Team Equity Culture
Essential to the work of school change is the creation of a robust Personal and Team Equity Culture (PTEC). Developing trust, building strong relationships and learning to lean into challenging conversations about race are the foundation of the work of Dismantling Racism in schools and districts. Join us to experience new ways to network within and across school and district teams.

Too often we identify an equity issue and jump to a solution without thinking through the root causes. We support teams as they learn to use data-focused cycles of equity improvement. On-going recursive cycles of improvement help schools and districts build long-term structures for equity improvement

Learn to engage in Instructional Rounds for Equity. Dip into classrooms with teachers, administrators and students as you compare your aspirational vision for equity in the classroom with your observed experience. Use rounds as both a starting point for action plans and a way to consider how to dig deeper into what actually influences feelings of belongingness and dignity in classrooms.
